Here at Urban Quest, we have a very defined offer that works 100% of the time. Our experience over the last 10 years has enabled us to understand what truly works when providing Team Building Activities and have tailored our services to meet your needs. As a company that provides Team Building Activities, we understand the importance of really listening to what our customers need and provide services that match those.

So what is our service, you ask? Well, our service involves working with you and your teams on a long term basis as part of your strategic plan. Team Building Activities are not a one event fixes all problems solution but rather they need to be regular and consistent in order to build on the foundations that are already there. Urban Quest recommend that Team Building Activities be carried out on a quarterly basis, which logically and progressively develops all the core values of an efficient team. These core values include trust, communication, conflict resolution and leadership.

Urban Quest’s Team Building Activities are run on the streets of Melbourne with each event lasting approximately two and a half hours. All events are competition based, which are full of specific tasks, challenges and interactions with teams being made up of four to six people. The teams all compete against each other and use their smart phones to navigate their way through the competition.

Team Building Activities work best when they are part of a competition because everything is time based. This means that there is extra pressure on the team to complete tasks within a certain timeframe in order to finish the activity as a whole. If you think about a work environment, all tasks are generally time sensitive, which means teams are under pressure to deliver a quality job within a prescribed timeframe. Exactly the same is required with Urban Quest’s Team Building Activities. Because our Team Building Activities are time sensitive and therefore put people under pressure, you generally get to experience your colleagues as they really are, not the representative that turns up to work. Generally, as individuals we have a work mask or style and a natural style. However, when we are under pressure more of our natural style shall show through, which is okay because being vulnerable allows us to build trust amongst our colleagues. They will also be going through the same experience so you shall not be alone.

Any Team Building Activities have to provide benefit to the company and the team as a whole, not one or the other. Our experiences and learnings over the years have taught us what really works, which means the companies we work with benefit from tried and tested situations. Our success means your success. Team Building Activities are most effective when individuals can partake in a competition, have fun and be part of it. Anything is possible with a little help from your friends here at Urban Quest, who are well versed in Team Building Activities.
