We need these things in order to be able to relate to one another-it’s in our biology, our chemistry, and in mirror neurons we have in our brains. These brain cells that the famous neuroscientist V.S Ramachandran calls the building blocks of civilization”. They are responsible for our empathy, compassion, and understanding of others’ actions and feelings. For example, if a coworker jams their finger in the door, we understand and feel their pain. This prompts us to help them-we know what this would be like.

As Henry Ford said: “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success”.
